You're the one everyone leans on but who's holding space for you?

I'm Alicia, and I am comfortable working with adults aged 20-50, including younger first responders and healthcare professionals who have just entered the field and are looking to proactively manage stress and prevent burnout. After nearly a decade in healthcare, supporting adults and families through dementia, psychiatric crises, palliative care, and profound grief. I know what it means to carry everyone else's weight while quietly running on empty. Burnout brought me to therapy as a client, and that experience changed everything. Now I blend trauma-informed, emotion-focused, and parts-based approaches (including EMDR and IFS) with somatic awareness to help you move from survival mode to a life that actually feels like yours. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, caregiver fatigue, vicarious trauma, or the lingering weight of your own unprocessed experiences, one of my greatest privileges is walking alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and step into your most authentic, at peace, and empowered self.

Why Work With Me

Starting therapy takes courage, especially when you've spent years being the strong one, the caregiver, the person everyone else depends on. I get it. I've been there.

My approach is warm, direct, and deeply collaborative. I draw from trauma-informed, emotion-focused, and parts-based therapies (including EMDR and IFS) alongside somatic awareness to help you understand the patterns keeping you stuck—and build a life that actually feels like yours.

Clients who come to see me may be:

  • Healthcare professionals or first responders carrying the invisible weight of vicarious trauma

  • High achievers struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, or chronic burnout

  • Feeling emotionally numb, disconnected, or stuck in hypervigilance

  • Caught in people-pleasing patterns and struggling to set boundaries

  • Navigating grief, loss, or the complexities of caregiving for a loved one

  • Experiencing relationship conflict or feeling disconnected from their partner

  • Going through major life transitions aging, career shifts, or health challenges

  • Living with chronic pain or illness and seeking support for the emotional toll

  • Ready to heal from trauma and reconnect with their most authentic self

What to Expect

I know what it feels like to be uncertain and nervous about starting therapy and to take that leap anyway. Psychotherapy transformed my life in ways I couldn't have imagined, and that experience deepened my commitment to supporting others through their own healing.

When you work with me, you'll find an inclusive, safe, and judgement-free space where you can show up as your full self and heal at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you're looking for a supportive approach focused on building skills to feel calmer and more grounded, or you're ready to go deeper—exploring the roots of your trauma, processing difficult experiences, and fostering meaningful long-term growth, I'll tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to start.
